Our Mission Statement

PMCS offers ‘A Caring Touch’ to individuals and families with a commitment to enhance their quality of life, by offering a supportive system that values individual choice and preferences, and empowers individuals to lead active, flourishing, and productive lives in the community of their choice. We help individuals increase their self-confidence and become more independent, on their path to achieve a greater sense of belonging and inclusion.

Who We Are

PMCS is a Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) licensed provider serving Central Maryland (Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, Howard County); Southern Maryland (Calvert, Charles, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s Counties); and Western Maryland (Alleghany, Carroll, Frederick, Garrett, and Washington Counties). We are licensed to offer Youth and Adult Residential Services (Community Living Group Home); and we also provide the following services and supports to individuals with an approved Community Pathways Waiver (CPW), Community Supports Waiver (CSW); Family Supports Waiver (FSW): Personal Supports, Nursing Support Services, Community Development Services, Supported Living, Employment Services, Respite Support and OHCDSS Transportation Services.

Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the families we support. We use a person-centered approach that addresses the unique needs of each individual served (honoring their preferences and interests), to ensure they receive the necessary supports to enhance their quality of life. PMCS offers a safe and nurturing environment for individuals seeking support, care, and a sense of belonging. We are steadfast in our commitment fostering an atmosphere where residents can thrive, all while maintaining their independence.  By prioritizing individual needs and well-being, we implement person-centered plans to provide support and services that empower each person to lead a fulfilling life.
